Ok, I admit it I was never really a big fan of the original Chromecast devices as they heavily depended on the apps being installed on my phone.
In all fairness, it was still a pretty good concept, but I found Roku and the Amazon Firestick better and let’s not forget that some smart TVs already come with a pretty decent system built in.
Around a year ago, I decided to purchase a 4K Chromecast with Google TV using the Google Store credit that I’ve accumulated. In all fairness, I didn’t know what to expect and having used various smart TV systems over the years, the new Chromecast had a lot to compete with.
But I was in for a pleasant surprise and after using the device for almost a year, I decided to share the 5 things I like the most about the new Chromecast with Google TV built-in.
